Lloyd E. Allen has been with NAI WEST Commercial Real Estate since May 2006 as the Senior Vice President, Corporate Counsel and NAI Business Director. Lloyd was previously a transaction and litigation Attorney for IBM and Hirschi Christensen PLLC. Lloyd supports the company and brokers in many areas, from assisting with business plans and specific deals, to ensuring that all agents are informed of and kept up-to-date with applicable commercial real estate laws. Lloyd also leads the company Receivership group.
Lloyd has 25 years of experience in the business and legal realm. His legal practice focuses specifically on real estate transactions. He also worked for IBM in both San Francisco, and their corporate headquarters in New York where he served over six years as Corporate Counsel and held a role in their business operations. His business and corporate experience has included the organization and management of legal entities, stock and asset acquisitions, various real estate transactions and secured transactions.
He has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Utah, and a Law Degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. Lloyd is a licensed attorney and active in the Utah State Bar real estate law and business law sections. He taught Business and International Law as an adjunct instructor at the University of Utah for almost ten years.
